Learned on the slab first

We put our care into the base, the drainage and the joints, because those are the hard parts to fix once the concrete is down.

I spent years as the right hand to another concrete contractor, running crews and walking jobs alongside the owner. I learned the trade on the slab, forming, pouring and finishing, and then on the planning side that keeps a job out of trouble. In 2023 I started this business to do the work the way I learned it, one step done right before the next.

I come out to look at your job and write the estimate myself. Our crew does the work and I'm on site running it, so you deal with the same person from the first visit to the final walk-around, not a salesperson who disappears after the estimate. If you have a question partway through the job, I'm the one you ask.

We're based in Delray Beach and work in many cities around it, across Palm Beach County and into north Broward. Most calls come from homeowners after a new driveway, patio or floor, plus some property owners who need a lot paved or a foundation built. The full list of what we do is on our home page.

We'd rather take the time a job needs and explain why than rush a pour and leave you guessing.

Steady work, done in order

  1. Joints cut where we choose

We cut control joints, grooves that give the slab a straight line to crack along, where we pick them, so a crack follows the line instead of wandering across your driveway.

  2. Licensed, insured, permits filed

We're fully licensed and insured. When a job needs a permit, we file it, line up the inspections and tell you at the estimate if we need your survey or parcel number.

  3. Cleaned up before we leave

We haul off the old concrete and the leftover forms and sweep up before we walk the finished job with you, because you should come home to a clean site.

The base comes before the finish

When a budget gets tight, the base is often the first thing cut, because nobody sees it on day one. We'd rather keep the base right and go simpler on the finish, since a nice surface on dirt that wasn't dug out and packed still settles. We also check where your water runs so it drains away from the house.

Estimates you can compare line by line

Your written estimate spells out what's included, like tear out, hauling and permit paperwork, so you can compare it fairly with other quotes. If something can't be settled at the estimate, I'll tell you so and explain how we'll find out before any concrete is poured.
